Majority of women have a mind set that unconsciously triggers a positive response to men that fit their mental pictures of what a partner should be. This mental set is influenced by the environment they grew up in, their relationships with male authority figures, peer groups, media, and society in general.

Behavioral research shows that women automatically respond to certain types of men. Interestingly, a women’s positive response is based on the man's personality, communication ability, accomplishments, but very rarely because of his looks! More interesting to note is women are usually not aware of why they react positively to these personality types!

These personality types may be categorized into two basic groups: The Lover and The Provider.
Women’s responses to these personality types are markedly different: almost always the respond to the lover personality is primarily sexual in nature whereas to the provider type, although the relationship reaches the sexual level as well, a complex interplay of reward and punishment occurs: women withhold sex until the man proves his commitment to a long-term relationship!

Women therefore are very much aware that their relationships with men can either be short term (with the lover personality type) or long term (with the provider personality type). It’s us men who confuse the issue by trying to be both personalities at the same time thereby unconsciously contributing to our failure to attract women!

It gets more complicated though because each personality type has four sub-types when inherent active and passive human dynamics are considered. Most women respond positively to some extent to these types of men, it is therefore up to you how far you want to take it.

The Lover Personality Sub-Types

• Bad Boy – a man who is dangerous and thrilling.
• Adventurer – a man who is fun and exciting to be with.
• Seducer – a sensual and sexy man who brings out a woman’s sexual instincts to the fore.
• Creative – a mysterious and complex man who stirs a woman’s emotions.

The Provider Personality Sub-Types

• Successful – a man who provides a great lifestyle and stability.
• The Authority Figure – a man who can control her and tells her what to do.
• Conventional – a man who is down to earth, loyal and stable – nerdy!
• Pleaser – a man who gives a woman whatever she wants and is easily influenced.
